Cette \u0153uvre nous plonge dans un paysage d\u00e9solant o\u00f9 la nature et l&#8217;humanit\u00e9 s&#8217;entrelacent dans une r\u00e9alit\u00e9 macabre, \u00e9voquant la d\u00e9cadence, l&#8217;oppression et l&#8217;horreur de la guerre.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">Le texte choisi pr\u00e9sente des images de fruits vides, de betteraves br\u00fbl\u00e9es et de poules pi\u00e9tin\u00e9es, sugg\u00e9rant un monde d\u00e9vast\u00e9 et sans espoir. Des villages incendi\u00e9s et des \u0153ufs sinistres dans les tombes renforcent l&#8217;id\u00e9e de perte et de d\u00e9solation. Dans un second fragment, la mention de ceux qui ne verront plus jamais la lune nous confronte \u00e0 l&#8217;irr\u00e9versibilit\u00e9 de la mort, tandis que la marche fun\u00e8bre entre des \u00e9rables rouges et une fronde de lances et de fusils nous transporte dans un contexte de conflit arm\u00e9. L&#8217;image d&#8217;une troupe aveugle et calcaire avan\u00e7ant vers la mort, foulant le sel et les s\u00e9diments sur ses pentes, sugg\u00e8re la d\u00e9shumanisation et la souffrance caus\u00e9es par la guerre.<\/span><\/em><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400; color: #000000;\">D&#8217;un point de vue musical, Voces en el Silencio prend ces images comme point de d\u00e9part pour une exploration sonore profonde. color: #000000;\"><em>\n\u00ab Je m\u00e8ne depuis plusieurs ann\u00e9es une exploration minutieuse des possibilit\u00e9s sonores de mon instrument, le hautbois. Ces recherches ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 abouti \u00e0 la composition de deux pi\u00e8ces, Open Calls pour hautbois seul et Sillages pour hautbois baroque et trio \u00e0 cordes. Commande de l\u2019ensemble Regards, cette nouvelle pi\u00e8ce pour hautbois, violon, alto et violoncelle s\u2019inscrit donc dans dans une continuit\u00e9. Elle prend comme point de d\u00e9part la d\u00e9couverte de certaines sonorit\u00e9s d\u00e9licates et expressives qui contrastent avec l\u2019id\u00e9e d\u2019un hautbois soliste, r\u00f4le qui lui est traditionnellement confi\u00e9 dans l\u2019histoire de cette formation. Dans Contrepoint des jours, je cherche \u00e0 l\u2019inverse \u00e0 marier les timbres des instruments, \u00e0 imaginer leurs compl\u00e9mentarit\u00e9s pour ainsi tendre vers une plus grande homog\u00e9n\u00e9it\u00e9 du quatuor. Sensible \u00e0 l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de la musique spectrale, les dimensions de timbre, d\u2019\u00e9nergie ou plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement l\u2019id\u00e9e de vie au c\u0153ur du son demeurent autant d\u2019aspects chers \u00e0 ma po\u00e9tique sonore et qui seront au centre de la composition. Faisant appel \u00e0 diff\u00e9rents modes de jeu qui alt\u00e8rent le timbre normal du hautbois, l\u2019\u00e9criture ne renoncera pas pour autant \u00e0 le faire chanter. Celle pour les cordes, inspir\u00e9e par la finesse et l\u2019inventivit\u00e9 de Ligeti ou Lachenmann, int\u00e9grera \u00e9galement quelques pr\u00e9parations des instruments afin d\u2019en augmenter la palette des sonorit\u00e9s.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify; color: #000000;\"><em>\u00c0 l\u2019image des champs-contrechamps cin\u00e9matographiques qui pr\u00e9sentent des perspectives vari\u00e9es d\u2019une m\u00eame sc\u00e8ne, la composition fera entendre plusieurs \u00e9tats musicaux, tant\u00f4t en dialogue, tant\u00f4t en contrepoint ou encore de mani\u00e8re synchrone, comme autant de mani\u00e8res de percevoir la mati\u00e8re musicale.
